Stress Relief Empty Stress Relief

When I get stressed out from research, teaching, and building I like to let loose and let my mind take a step back and relax.

Here are something that I find interesting that I try to find stuff more like it whenever I need to release pressure from my cranium.

The Mysterious Explorations of Jasper Morello

Speed Racer - Shut up and Drive

I still watch cartoons

Code Monkey

Daft Punk - Daft Bodies do Harder better faster stronger

besides YouTube, Myspace, and Facebook I have a lot of avenues for relaxing the thinking part of my brain. Sometimes my brain is so overloaded with information i need to get physical.

Friends, gym, and rock band help with this.
I'm convinced that if I play rock band enough I could play on an electric drum kit. lol

I also teach at church, my ability to comprehend science, details in the scriptures, and my ability to verbally explain advance concepts helps to capture the attention of my class. I feel a strength that comes from honestly teaching concepts I believe, I wouldn't teach it if i didn't believe it. I also understand appropriateness as well. I don't find myself like Stan Meyer's mixing my belief with lectures in science. I would if my audience were members of my church, but if I was addressing those not of my faith I'd leave that kind of talk out and save it for personal conversations with them if they were interested in my perspective. Teaching religious concepts has a way of getting my ready to continue my research above all other things and gives me something to think about that allows me to think of complex concepts that follow a different approach in obtaining knowledge. Like a balance between intuition and empirical observation.

These are the things I do to relieve stress.

I just solve the rubiks cube when I get stressed. I can solve it in about 2 minutes. Steve taught me how to solve it
